As partners with the local church and the Christian home, LBA provides the technical assistance to parents for the student to master all academic skills and concepts in an excellent Christian environment. With a qualified, caring staff, affordable tuition, a traditional approach to education using the A BEKA curriculum, Biblical integration in all subjects, and a phonetic reading program, we believe your child will receive the tools needed to succeed in the Christian life.

The highly acclaimed A Beka Book curriculum is used for grades K5-12. Bible memorization, reading and math readiness are some of the skills learned at the earliest ages at Liberty Baptist Academy. The total reading program is based upon a phonics approach. The elementary, junior high, and senior high programs are designed to develop learning skills in all subject areas, including daily instruction in Bible. All students are required to use the King James Bible and participate in the weekly chapel service program as part of our curriculum.

LBA does not provide transportation to and from school. Busing is available through your local school district. You must live in Delaware County and be within 10 miles of the school. Ask for details.

Liberty Baptist Academy theme 2019-2020
"My house... will serve the Lord" Joshua 24:15

Recognizing that God has primarily given the responsibility to parents for the education of their children, LBA seeks to assist the Christian home and the Bible-believing, local, New Testament Church. This is done by transmitting truth to the student and directing the hearts of young people toward God through a Biblically-based, Christ-centered, traditional education. (II Timothy 2:2, Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Psalms 78:4-7)

God gave Pastor Brett Sharp a burden and a vision for a Christian school with strong Biblical values and academic excellence for the people of Freedom Baptist Church and other churches, in the area, of like-mind. Following the Lord's leading, Liberty Baptist Academy opened its doors in September 2014 as a ministry of Freedom Baptist Church in Glenolden, PA.

See our statement of faith on the Freedom Baptist Church website.
